New Landscapes 2016-2018
As a native of the California high desert, I have always found a comfort in the heightened feeling of solitude of the desert and the feeling of connection to the sublime. This connection to the desert developed into a commitment to conservation, which is one of the main motivations for my personal photography. I seek to make work that continues to promote the need for conserving open natural space, not only for the enjoyment of future generations, but for the large-scale environmental benefits and historical archeological significance.
